The Pope was kung fu fighting

Pope Nazinger Benedict used his traditional New Years message to tell rich nations they are responsible for environmental problems on earth and he wants all wealthy to shed that pesky consumerism they like so much.

A valiant attempt from the Pope to spread the word of Christ.. Forget about that whole Pope wears Prada shoes thing..

Ignore that whole expensive vestment thing ..

Oh, and yes, the Vatican does have between 10 billion to $15 billion in wealth...

Perhaps that whole consumerism thing worked for the Church, being that the collection baskets are filled closer to the top when economic stability is achieved.

But, for Pope Benedict, a message to the world, straight from the discarded note paper from Copenhagen..

What is the Vatican's carbon output, anyway? ..
