..and it just doesn't add up..

While world leaders come together (or not) on Copenhagen to talk about climate change on earth, third world nations walked out on deliberations over proposed climate deal language..

And now, the inventor of the internet and 'thinking man's thinking man,' according to NEWSWEEK, Gore had to backtrack on his claim that the Arctic could be 'ice-free' in five years..

The UK TIMES ONLINE is reporting today,

"In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: "These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years."

But the problem, according to the TIMES, is that the climatologist Gore relied on said, "It's unclear to me how this figure was arrived at. I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this"

Gore's comments about the vanishing ice came at a time of fierce debate over climate change theories.. Over recent weeks, leaked emails of scientists speaking to each other about the topic of earth changes have increased discussion over the basic nature of climate change in general..

Gore's stark theory about an ice-free Arctic comes during the final phase of the Copenhagen talks about global warming.. According to latest reports from the city, final drafts of the Copenhagen agreement have been "stripped of any real protection for natural forests or indigenous peoples who have looked after them for centuries"

It appears Copenhagen is doing little to save the planet, but instead, install a new planetary order.. One headed by the World Bank and new taxes through cap and trade ..

Just as Copenhagen is wrapping up its agenda for the globe, the debate continues regarding the hacked and / or leaked emails on climate change.. The latest voice added to the mixture of argument: Famed voice of weather fame Dr. Bill Gray wrote that climategate revelations "'are but the tip of a giant iceberg'"

Gray writes matter-of-factly,

"Rising levels of CO_2 are not near the threat these alarmists have portrayed them to be. There has yet to be a honest and broad scientific debate on the basic science of CO_2 's influence on global temperature. The global climate models predicting large amounts of global warming for a doubling of CO_2 are badly flawed. They should never have been used to establish government climate policy.

The last century's global warming of about 1 degree F is not a consequence of human activities. This warming is primarily the result of a multi-century changes in the globe's deep ocean circulation. These ocean current changes have lead to a small and gradual increase in the globe's temperature. We are coming out of the Little Ice Age and into a generally warmer climate state. This is akin to the warmer global climate of the Medieval Period. We can do nothing but adapt to such long period natural temperature changes"

But even with continuing debate over those interesting tidbits revealed in text, world leaders like Tony Blair are calling for the talks on climate to 'get moving'.. Blair said the world must act quick so those pesky ice caps don't melt in five years.. or seven years.. or thirty years. Or something like that?

IceCapGore is getting President Obama ready for Copenhagen .. NPR reports today that Gore met Obama in the Oval Office to prep the President about how to warn the earth of the coming peril and climate change disasters that face humanity.

But the final talks are lacking help for rain forests? lacking help for the poor..? giving more power to the World Bank? Is this any way to go green?!?

A sudden tense atmosphere has clouded Copenhagen in a chill, not a cozy friendly warmth of nations coming together..

All the while, according to another paper, the tide is turning on climate change ..

Just give us the debate about climate change. Let us see the facts.. Give us the bare-knuckled, naked news about what is truly occurring with our earth.. No more grand verbose statements and doomsday scenarios.. but how about some shades of gray, which is typically where the truth will lay.

In the meantime, the earth is changing, the caps are melting, and Al Gore is fighting.. For what? The earth itself and humanity's future, or more power for a World Bank ready to give money to nations, and hold back from others. Copenhagen matters more than anyone can imagine..
