In an obvious sign that the fear factor never caught on fire, many health officials are beginning to dream up creative ways to get kids to sign up for swine flu vaccines. The latest H1N1 deal involves Detroit health officials saying kids can get a pizza party if they get the vaccine..

The pizza ploy is Detroit's way of making kids give permission slips to parents.. Apparently the kids have kept them in their bookbags--That or parents simply chose not to return them.

Now officials say that an 80% return rate of slips will warrant the pizza party..
