STRUGGLING RETAILERS BANK THEIR HOPES ON CHRISTMAS--IN JULY

SEARS wants you to shop for the holiday season.. so does Toys R Us..

Stores online are attempting to create a buzz and business during the bleak economic summer of discontent. They are banking hopes on Christmas in July stunts online as a moneymaker.

Toys R Us said, "Everyone needs a little Christmas, right this very minute" ..

Whether it works is yet to be seen .. Big chain retailers have had some of their darkest days in recent memory .. Christmas 2008 was less than great for major companies like Bon Ton, Sears, and others.. Their hopes are being waged during the hot summer months .. their hopes that Christmas will come early for their struggling profits//
