CASKET FIT FOR A KING: MICHAEL JACKSON'S COFFIN MADE OF GOLD..

The world watched .. and watched.. and watched the memorial service for Michael Jackson in Los Angelas today, beamed around the world and on the internet for your viewing pleasure.. His daughter spoke for the first time in a short, tearful speech praising the fatherhood of Michael Jackson ... Stars and musicians, including Jermaine Jackson, performed live.. a live performance from Stevie Wonder rocked the house..

And all the while, Michael Jackson rested on the stage in a gold-plated casket ..The question now: Where will the coffin of gold be buried?

An estimated 1 billion people worldwide were estimated to be watching services for Jackson.. And it's not over yet: Another tribute memorial service is planned for August, according to Roger Friedman..

Meanwhile, the media circus surrounding Jackson's death may now die down itself.. Networks have gone wall-to-wall with coverage of the Jackson memorial as though it was another 9/11.. While some have compared Michael Jackson's untimely death with Elvis' of yesteryear, the media has rarely brought up controversy surrounding Jackson over the past days since he passed away..

Perhaps now the news can return to cover the news..

And lost in the mix: The sad tale of the late Farrah Fawcett.
