Saturday afternoon doledrums: Gray skies
Ratings for the first in the series of 2008 presidential debates didn't get as high of ratings as many people thought it would--it was behind in numbers when compared to Bush vs Kerry. Maybe someone ought to think: It was on .. on a Friday night. Some of the lowest ratings came from New York City and Los Angeles.. Again, big cities.. Friday night. That economic depression must not have hit yet..
And speaking of the coming end of the world *.. probably not .. * Lawmakers are working the weekend (along with millions of other Americans so don't feel bad) to try to get the bailout bill through Congress and to the President's desk.. BEFORE THE MARKETS self-destruct!!!!
