Conditions in Texas are worsening as days go on.. while huge death tolls are not apart of Ike's aftermath, news of scare resources like water, gas, and food are. .And with the lack of important elements to human sanity, so goes hope. Increasingly, people losing their hope.. Houston's food bank director says that the city is being overwhelmed. Only days ago, the fundamentals of human life were strong along the Texas Gulf Coast--and now days after Ike devastated islands, towns, cities, and history, the fundamentals of life are hard to find. Health officials are working their hearts out to try to avoid an all out crisis after the monster hurricane. Misery extends North: Flooding in the Midwest in Ike's path..
