All the news unfit to print for Wednesday, July 30, 2008

Oh the controversy!! .. I am sick of politics. With over 90 days left to go.

Let it end! John McCain's town halls.. Barack Obama's massive gatherings. And neither one of them have a vice president yet. It's too much.. Change the scenery. Both candidates are a little under my skin. I wish my dream come true match of Ron Paul vs Dennis Kucinich would have happened.. Nonetheless, no use crying over printed deflated dollars. Today's 'controversy' that is diverting Americans and news media from true issues is the war about ads (the same exact debate that happens around this same exact time every election cycle.) The use of celebrity in ads the hot topic on the 24/7 cable shows: A McCain ad uses brief flashes of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears comparing Obama to 'celebrity'. The flashes in use were not, however, nude flashes.. Obama counters McCain: "What they're going to do is make you scared -- of me. 'He's not patriotic enough. He's got a funny name. He doesn't look like all the presidents on the dollar bills.'" The ad itself is relatively dull .. boring .. not really hard hitting . . And now. . as expected, late tonight the Obama camp is hitting back with ads already appearing on cable and the big networks. 'He can't take the high horse and then claim the low road.' Wake me in November..
