THE ECONOMY IS FALLING! THE ECONOMY IS FALLING!
George W. Bush appeared at a news conference today stating that the economy's foundation was sound.. He urged lawmakers to quickly enact legislation to prop up mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.. While Bush spoke, he called for more drilling .. And the prices fell. Oil prices fell harder than they have in 17 years today as fears took over that record fuel prices are spreading economic pain.. Bernanke appeared today .. gloomy. And General Motors slashes salaried workers and production.
