Just when you think it's safe to walk outside--IT'S DARK!

Daylight savings times, though later than this year, is nonetheless here. And with it comes the typical lame jokes about enjoying the extra hour of sleep and being early to work on Sunday. And if you're a driver or pedestrian, run for your life. The Associated Press reporting today that two scientists have calculated the dangers of daylight savings .. pedestrians walking during the night rush hour are nearly three times more likely to be hit and killed by cars than before the time change! Ending daylight saving time translates into about 37 more U.S. pedestrian deaths around 6 p.m. in November compared with October, the scientists have concluded. Life is dangerous. I never in my life knew that falling back in the fall was making my life even more dangerous than it was during the Spring and Summer. Maybe I should have known this, the info appears to be from a few different sources and studies since the 1970s now that I look, but I just never knew it. At least I won't be tired if anything happens...? By the way, here's everything you always wanted to know about Daylight Savings Time from Wikipedia..
