Miners still trapped, search suspended after tragic deaths of rescue workers..
A sad tragic situation worsened this week. The miners trapped in a Utah mine still trapped.. three rescue workers trying to locate the trapped miners died this week when a mountain "bump" caused a cave in at the Crandall Canyon Mine. And now the search for the previously trapped miners suspended..

Were they doing retreat mining, Bob?

"CAVE IN" + "MOUNTAIN BUMP" = BULLSHIT
THEY WERE RETREAT MINING AND THEY LEFT THOSE SIX IN THERE. DID'T NOTICE THEY WERE MISSING UNTIL IT WAS WAAYYYYYY TO LATE AND THAT'S WHY THEY CAN'T FIND THEM, THEY CLOSED THAT MINE UP.
agreed. the fact the media keeps saying disater really pisses me off. this was not an accident
what is retreat mining? why is it bad? I read a few stories that other states do it and say it's safe?
I'd leave the "safe" question for an expert, but I found this on retreat mining: From USA TODAY
